John Muir and the California Adventure

Mile for mile, California's 211-mile John Muir Trail is the most beautiful trail I have hiked. My first trek along the JMT was in the summer of 2005 with three friends. I was so enamoured with the beauty and wonder of the High Sierra that I have made it a point to return every other year since.
